We are a couple based in Adelaide, usually found chasing good food, cheap flights, and our slightly unhinged (but adorable) Chihuahua, Rocky.

 

Real Life Edit is our little corner of the internet where we share exactly that — real life. The fun bits, the messy bits, and everything delicious in between.

 

We’ve always been explorers at heart. Sometimes that means jumping on a plane to somewhere tropical… Sometimes it means driving 20 minutes for a café someone swore has “the best chips ever”… And sometimes it just means wandering a market with coffee in hand and absolutely no plan. Honestly? Those are usually the best days.

 

Gee is the resident foodie and human GPS for great eats. He has an uncanny talent for sniffing out the best burgers, bakeries and hidden gems wherever we go. If there’s something tasty within a 10km radius, he will find it.

 

I’m (Mindi) the one behind the camera — documenting it all, oversharing on the internet, and stopping everyone mid-meal with “WAIT — don’t touch it, I need a photo first.” You’re welcome. 😄

 

What you’ll find here

 

Real Life Edit isn’t just travel or just food or just lifestyle. It’s a mix of everything we love, including:

 

• Food – from street eats and local cafés to home-cooked comfort food and “accidentally ordered too much” dinners

• Travel – weekend getaways, Aussie road trips, beach days, and the occasional overseas escape

• Lifestyle – markets, parties, everyday adventures, random finds, and the little moments that make life fun

• Rocky Moments – because our tiny four-legged sidekick runs this house and refuses to be left out

 

Expect honest reviews, pretty photos, practical tips… and the occasional travel fail, sunburn, or “that looked better on Instagram” moment. Because this isn’t the highlight reel. It’s the real life edit.
